Dr Bernard Willis was born in Birmingham but did his medical training in Leeds. Upon qualification he undertook a short-service 5-year commission with the RAF, which involved working both in the UK and abroad. He then worked in Australia for several years before returning to the UK.

After a short spell with the NHS in Colchester he was able to join the Harrow Health Care Centre, which was the first private family health care centre in the UK. In 1991 he, and wife Patricia, having fallen in love with the Costa Blanca, decide to live and work in this area.

The first clinic was opened in the Arenal area of Javea to be followed later by a second clinic in the ground floor of their house in Cami Cabanes and finally a third clinic in Moraira. Dr Willis is trained in Acupuncture and has a special interest in orthopaedic medicine. He is also an expert in Hormone Restoration Therapy and is fascinated by the research being undertaken in the USA into anti-ageing and nutritional medicine.

When not working he enjoys spending as much time as possible on the golf course. He also plays tennis, goes to the gym and spends some time in the garden. He loves music, particularly Jazz, reading and watching all the latest films.
